Seagate St3750528as Runs Very Slow

I ran a couple of diagnostic programs on it and in one it shows Reallocated Count (Value and Worst both say 89). Reallocation Event Count (Value and Worst both say 89). In another program it says "Firmware bug" Seagates "Seatools for Windows" says noploblem, yet it tales up to 10 minutes to merely boot up. Can I fix it or do I need a new HDD?

There might be a bad sector of your Seagate ST3500418AS hard disk. Bad sectors are unreadable parts of the hard disk which require repair by running the Windows CheckDisk utility. You have to run the CheckDisk utility of Windows Operating System to fix this issue. Follow these steps:

1. Click Start/Windows logo

2. Open My Computer/Computer

3. Right click the Drive C: or Drive D:

4. Click Properties

5. Click Tools tab

6. Finally click the Check Now button

7. You may be required by the computer to restart
