NO they are not. The ST-118273WD is a High Voltage Differential interface drive , the ST118273W is a Single Ended SCSI device. Though physically they share the 68 pin standard SCSI connector the bus interface pin-outs are different. You can not use an SE device on an HVD bus without an interface converter such as an Ancot or Paralan SE-HVD converter.
