St1000dm003 Sata Drive: Would Like To Know What Specs Are Supposed To Be For C/

Purchased 2 of these drives: when installing OpenBSD 5.2, fdisk gives me 2 different geometries for each drive, even though the total sectors are correct (1,953,525,168). When using a "Boot Repair" disk to find and recover a Linux Kubuntu install, the app was found and worked: the disk utility program in Kubuntu stated that "Warning: The partition is milagligned by 512 bytes.
