2012 Scion Tc Transmission Problems
We bought a 2012 Scion TC brand new for my daughter in December 2011. At 3610 miles (Sep2012) the vehicle had transmission problems. When shifting, there was a loud pop & the jolt would be so hard that it almost felt like my teeth were tingling from them grinding. (Hadn't thought about it, but I just went to the dentist today & was told that 2 of my fillings had cracked.) There have been other problems...sunroof rattle; various other rattles; hot fluid smells; etc. The transmission has just been changed & we got the car back today (09/18/12). It is not shifting correctly...hard downshift at times. We bought the vehicle b/c we thought that Toyota/Scion were high-quality vehicles & since this Scion was manufactured in Japan - it would be even better quality...NOT SO! Anyone else having problems?
