2005 Saturn Relay3 Awd..transmission 136,500 Miles.

When resuming driving speed after slowing in traffic, (as for a car turning in front of me), upon acceleration sometmes, not always, there is a loud clunk, as if the  tires have stuck and then suddenly rotate. People who have heard this say it is my transmission not shifting. It happens in all kinds of weather but usually after driving a few miles.
