My Microwave Isn't Cooking The Food And The Light That Says Code Is On

my microwave isn't cooking anything regardless of what I put and the word code appears

I have found that this has a child lock and maybe it is asking for a code. Page 11 of the user guide for a similar model explains how to reset, You can get the user guide here.
