Ruined Clothes

i have ruined not just my own but other people's clothes and blankets using this machine. I can't seem to just wash in cold water even though I have set both wash and rinse on cold. I do not want to use the sanitizing option as that is what ruins out clothes and expensive blankets. I've tried shutting hot water hose off but machine will wash without water in it! Please help as I am loosing my mind!!

As I understand your question, you don't want to wash in cold water with the sanitizing option because you feel the sanitization ruins your clothes; and you don't want to wash in cold water without it because the clothes do not come out clean. The answer, I'm afraid, won't make you happy. Samsung recommends using cold water only with the sanitizing option. So unless you're willing to wash in warm or hot water, there's no way to resolve.
