Text Messages Beep
when i send a text message it beeps. how do i turn it off

Ok, here it is step by step....click on the "menu" button then click on "settings" Click on "Sound Profile", next to the word "Normal" (top of drop down menu) there should be a circle (filled in with a blue dot) and a square with to red arrows in it....click on the arrows. If you click on this button correctly a new menu will appear and at the very top corner it will say "Call" with an arrow (pointing down) next to it, click on that arrow and then click on "message". At the top of this new menu it will say Message Alert Type.....click on MUTE. That should do the trick.
