Vertical Hinged Door Divider

We own a RF 267 ABRS ref. The top knob on the vertical hinged divider has broken. I can see how it can easily happen if the divider gets flipped open when the doors are open and then get shut. Is there a better design this can be replaced with? We have owned this less than one year.
