Noise Reduction For A Refrigerator

I have a Samsung refrigerator, model # RB1955SH. It is working properly, but it's incredibly loud. I want to be sure that it won't hurt the refigerator to slide some noise deadening board behind and underneath it. Please advise. Thanks.

You can do that but you must make sure that you don't restrict the airflow to the compressor & fan motor. Good luck!
