Hl-s6186w No Picture

I have this samsung set hl-s6186w. It will power on and the lamp is working and was just replaced. When I power it on the lamp led flashes for 30 to 45 seconds the goes off. Then I try to use the remote with nothing to ever happen except the timer led flashes on every keystroke. Can't get a menu or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Check to see if your standby/temp light is on or off.

f your standby/temp light is off and you are still not seeing a picture try pressing the Menu button on your remote to see if the on screen menu appears.

If you still do not see a picture click here to view the Power section of this troubleshooting guide.

If your standby/temp light is red this indicates that your TV is not powered on, but it is recieving power. Try pressing the power button again. Also see if the unit will power on using your remote.
If you are still unable to see a picture and you have recently had service on your TV make sure that the lamp is installed properly. Click here to view our how to guide on installing a lamp properly.

If you still do not see any picture on your TV click the "Online Service Request" button at the bottom of this article to set up service.
