Ryobi Ry42102 Support Question: Blower Tube Removal

Actually it has one tab on each side of the tube. They are two far apart to press them with one hand. You need two hands to press the tabs and a third hand to wiggle the tube free.

Alternatively, I managed to pry one tab in using a flat screw driver blade and then pry a second blade in the other side. Then, I was able to shift it off 1/8" or so. They removed the pry blades before taking the tube the rest of the way off.

NOTE: Neither my 10 gauge 100 foot or my 12 gauge 50 foot extension cords fit the way the instruction manual suggest. The cord diameters prevent sliding them through the opening on the handle. My 16 gauge fits that mechanism and works great; however, the instruction manual calls for 12 gauge extension cord ?

There is a tab which is pushed it to release the blower tube. Refer to the user guide for info.
