What Holds The Drive Belt On?

the drive belt comes off during startup.

Not sure where the drive drive belt you ask about is located as these are driven directly from the motor. If it is the strimmer line you refer to it may not be wound correctly. Refer to the instruction manual available from the 'helpowl' link. If you can be more specific if you have to place a new question that will enable us to give you a better answer.
