How Do I Remove The String Assembly From My Ryobi Ry13010 Trimmer

Tilt the unit back and just turn the large black knob (closest to the ground) clockwise while holding the string holder unit still. You may need a large pliers or two to hold the string section while turning the knob clockwise (when it's facing you). Then just slide off the string unit. If string is stuck in it, unscrew the four phillips screws and remove the cover of the head. Be careful when taking the string out because the rachets that hold the string are held in with springs. Hold the spring with your finger so you don't lose it when the small plastic rachet comes out. By the way, if you want to replace the string head with one that you can bump and trim, I used the standard head from my Homelite straight trimmer and it fit perfectly and works great!!!
