Nailer Wont Fire

nailer wont fire lihgts flash until battery is removed replaced with new fully charged battery still wont fire and lights flash again

There are two types of flashing lights with this nailer. If you try to nail something and the gun detects that the nails are not firing, it will flash fast and stop working until the battery is pulled out. The other flashing is slow, and indicates the thermal fuse in the handle blew. You have to buy a new thermal fuse and resolder it in place, which is doable but not everyone will feel comfortable doing it. Also, there may have been a reason the fuse blew, that needs to be fixed too.

did the battery develop a memory? if it did then it will not fully charge therefor it wont work properly
