Stuck Pull Cord On Ryobi 310 Bvr Leaf Blower

Pull cord is stuck and will not budge without a lot of effort and even then, will move very little. Can this be fixed or do I need a new blower?Denis Nelson

I've had the same problem on a lawn mower. The problem was that the drive shaft (the shaft that is supposed to rotate as the cord is pulled) needed to be lubricated. Once I lubricated it, the cord pulled easily.

Try lubricating the drive shaft around its bearing, with some kind of lubricating oil. Apply some oil then try to pull the cord or turn the shaft by hand, then apply some more oil. Pretty soon it should start to move freely.
