Repositioning The Arm Assembly And Tv

This may be a crazy question but here goes. My TV is mounted in the middle of the arm assembly and I would like to slide it to the right on the wall plate. Can I safely loosen the two screws and move it horizontally left or right without unmounting the TV? Or is a 51.8-lb, 65-inch TV too heavy? (Samsung UN65KS8000FXZA TV).
