Ridgid 40700 Vacuum-- The Motor Seems Stressed, Due To Electric Inconsistency?
T he motor of this ridgid 40700 vacuum seems stresses, smells and sounds bad. It has a 110 chord, and i was using it in a house with european ( english) electricity plugs, using an adapter, and it seemed that the engine was working harder/faster/louder than usual, then i stopped it because i was alarmed. when after waiting a few days i plugges it in again, as soon as it is urned on it sounds bad and smells. I am wondering if i need to replace the motor to repair it?
