To print to an envelope, load the envelope on the bypass tray, short edge first with the flap side facing up. Then set the bypass paper size for the correct size setting, and set the paper type for Envelope (or if that's not an option, select Thick). Then you'll have to set the print driver for the same settings.
Envelopes can be hit or miss -- depending on the type of envelope, there's always a chance of it jamming or wrinkling.
