Scan Size
When manually scanning some B&W photos the scanner sometimes stops short of the full document. Is there a way to fix the size so that the full document is scanned rather than relying on the machine's detection of the end of the document?

There is not an option in the Scan Settings for size. Only Scan Type (Colour, B&W), and Resolution. Anything else to try? Is the a config that would turn on the scan size option?

I believe I've found a work around, if, in fact one should be able to access the scan size setting (which I'm not seeing anywhere). Press the scan start button before putting the document on the glass. This will always cause the the system to ask for the document size since it can not detect a document. It's a bit of a pita, but until a better answer comes through... :-)

Hi, by default the scanner will rely on its detection sensors, but you can pick the original size. On the scanner screen, select the Scan Settings or Original Settings button on the left side of the screen (may be called something similar). From here you can tell the scanner to automatically scan one size, such as 8.5x11 or 8.5x14, rather than relying on Auto Detect.
