Hi, on an MP1600 the sc402 error is generally a problem with either the transfer roller or the PCU (photoconductor unit). It could also be the high voltage supply board, but that's less likely. Check to make sure the transfer roller is set correctly on the side door -- often, if that roller gets popped out of place, that will cause the sc402 code.
