Display Does Not Switch From Analog To Digital.

I have my Philips 47PLF5704D coaxial digital audio out connected to the coaxial digital audio in but the display shows only analogue. Following of the setup instructions does not switch it to digital and I get no audio.What am I doing wrong?

You may experience this when:

No digital channels are broadcast by the local broadcaster or cable provider. Look up the selected channel(s) in a newspaper or TV guide to be sure it is broadcasted locally.
Selected favourites list has no channel(s) added to the list.
The incoming cable or antenna signal is connected through an accessory device (such as VCR, DVDR, cable/satellite box, etc).

Note: When there are no digital channels broadcast in your area, press the 'ANALOG/DIGITAL' button on the remote control to switch the TV to the analogue mode to view your analogue channels.

When the TV is connected through a cable/satellite box:

If you are using a coaxial connection from the cable/satellite box to the TV;

Press the 'ANALOG/DIGITAL' button on the remote control to set the TV to the analogue mode.
Set the TV to the same channel as the cable/satellite box output channel.
Change the channels at the cable/satellite box to view the program.

If you are using a video connection from the cable/satellite box to the TV;

Press the 'SOURCE' button on the remote control repeatedly to select the TV input source for the cable/satellite box.
Change the channels at the cable/satellite box to view the program.
