Cd Drawer Won't Open

The user guide (http://www.1800customersupport.com/productdocuments/RS27116i_RCA.pdf) does not go into troubleshooting. But, you can try a few things. I don't have a picture of the front here so I'm going to be real generic. Can you pry it open? Don't force it, there might be a latch that can break. Typically a toothpick or small knife can be used. If the spring is broken or the latch stuck you may have to send it in for service which may cost more than a new unit. Sometime if the latch or hinge is dirty you can clean it with some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and get things to work again. Good luck.
