Rca Rcrh02br Remote Won't Change Channels

I just bough a RCA RCRH02BR remote for my TV (a Toshiba) with brand new batteries. The codes work, to an extent. It will power off and on, it will cahnge the volume, and will go into menu. Using the channel buttons for anything whether it is changing channels or trying to move down a category in the menu they do not work.Any help on fixing the problem would be appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately if none of the codes work then the remote simply isn't compatible with your TV. You'll have to get a different remote.

this gave me a headache too. It's stupid yet simple.they have tv mode channels locked by default. Should tell you in the manual. But just hold down Sat/cbldtc button. At same time hold the channel down button until light comes back on. Then press the enter button. Now it's unblocked. Don't forget to press tv button again to work buttons.
