Won't Play Most Blu Ray Discs, But Will Play Dvds

This Blu Ray player has given me problems since I've bought it. Blu Ray discs take FOREVER to load. Most of the time, it will NOT play the Blu Ray disc at all - just keeps repeating the opening loop, then stops, then starts playing the opening loop again. I don't have any problems with it playing regular DVD's - only Blu Ray discs. I've tried searching for updates but it always says none are available online?
