is quicken xg2006 compatible with 64 bit windows 7 Will not print PDF file - says it cannot find.

There "should" be no reason this would not work but with older 32 bit versions of software sometimes there can be issues. Typically if it runs it runs. Odds are the printer drivers are not being recognized.

Try this, install CutePDF Writer. It is a PDF printer driver. It installs itself as a new printer and when you print to it it produces a PDF in whatever folder you specify. http://www.cutepdf.com/

Once installed print normally to that rather than doing a PDF output driect from Quicken.
