Player Not Responding

my player has green lights on, but does not play .....what could be the problem?

If the earbuds are not playing when they are disconnected from the computer, but there is music loaded on them, then you should only have to press and hold the power pause button or the play and pause button for five seconds to turn it on. Once it is on pressing the play button will play the music in the pause button will posit. And the volume plus and minus will control the volume of the music. That is the way it should work when it's not connected. If it isn't doing that, then there may be a hardware problem with the device.
