Blown Inputs?

I have a pphp159wmu. Used in the school where I teach. Lots of people borrow this and some don't know what they are doing. The last unit we had the inputs got blown and the device had to be repaired. This unit powers on and seems fine, but no sound what so ever. Any ideas? Can I purchase replacment components?Thanksgeorge
