2002 Pontiac Aztec Hot Coolant Sensor Coming On But Engine Is Cool

my hot coolant sensor is coming on after i replaced the thermostat and before that but the engine isnt hot or even warm i have no heat what so ever the system has been bled and the water pump replaced a year ago
