Oil Light Comes On
I was wondering what would cause the oil light to come on when the engine idles. The light goes off at higher RPM

It could be a variety of things. Most times it is low oil pressure. . So I would check oil level first. If that is not the case I would check the oil filter. It could be clogged. Also could be a leak. You can take the vehicle to a mechanic and have the oil pressure tested. I had a Lincoln with the same problem and come to find out it had a blown head gasket. I would take those steps first though before thinking something horrible is wrong with your car. Good Luck!
