Dangerous?

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and it has a mechanical issue. The fuel filter leaks gasoline and the fuel lines is also rusted. I wanna know if there is any danger in driving. It doesnt really leak a lot as I was told, buti am still concerned and a bit scared. I want to fix it but I am short of money and I need to move around...someone knows?

As you stated there's always some risk if you have a gas leak. A spark or open flame can make that risk a reality. My advise is to drive it as little as possible & don't leave it parked in one spot for long periods of time unless you're collecting the leaked gas in a container. You have to weigh the risk/reward ratio as it pertains to your personal knowledge of the severity of the leak & your financial situation. Best of luck to you.
