Fixing Broken Wiper Lever

my windshield wiper lever is busted i cant afford to get macanic to fix it. i need step by step instructions for 2000 pontiac bonneville . i have replacement wiring and lever for windshield wiper all i need to do is take out old one that is broke at the base and install new one. please help. any type of reference guide or website will be helpful.
