Security System
anti theft lock is on and cannot turn it off! Car will not start

Try wiping off your key with a cloth. The resistor in the key sometimes gets dirty and prevents the vehicle anti-theft system (VATS) from reading it and completing the circuit. If that doesn't work, try your spare key or have a new key made. The resistor in your key may be defective. The key is the weakest link in the VATS setup.
