Cannot Hear The Other Person

We bought this bluetooth headset in July. It has been working beautifully until now. Since last week, there is a problem, whenever I call/other person calls, I am able to hear clearly but the other person cannot hear me at all. I am able to hear the music through the headset clearly. I thought it might have lost connection with the iphone, so I paired it again. Pairing was successful but still the problem persisits, and also I have noticed there is no intermittent blue light. I really hope there is a simple solution to this, like it might be muted or something. It will be a great shame if the headset is broken just in a few months.
