No Sound When Hdmi Cable Connected To Input 3

I am unable to get sound from my system via input 3 which is the hdmi input . Input 1 and 2 arefine . The speaker system is connected to the DVD player and have tried connecting audio leads from DVD to receiver but no luck .

On your cable remote, go to audio settings. Make sure you audio digital output is HDMI.
