Wiring And Impedance Questions
I have a pioneer champion pro series 12" sub with dual 4ohm voice coils that's rated at 600w RMS and 2000w maximum. I also have a pioneer GM-D9601 amplifier I would like to run it off of at 2 ohms so that it will push 800w RMS and I can get the full sound out off my sub. Is this possible to do with this amp and sub combo? If so I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how to wire it all together to do this? Im not extremely familiar with this stuff and don't want to run either of them. Thank you.

Do that combo at your own risk. The components has ratings for a reason, so it isn't advisable. JMO
