Bdr-205 Incompatible With Win10?
Dear Sir,I have been using a Pioneer BDR-205 BD drive for about eight years, without a single problem. Up untill I upgraded form Win7/64 bit to Win10/64 bit. Ever since, the BD drive read and write only CD-s and DVD-s.Although I got the necessary burning and player softwares (Image Burn 2.5.8, Cyberlink PowerDVD 19.2) my BDR-205 can not read any kind of Blu ray disk, not even the ones created by itself.When I try to play a blue ray using this drive, win10 eventlog creates an error message something like this: "An error found by the drive in \Device\CdRom0".I have reinstalled the appropriate firmware 1.12 on the device, tried to clear the registry from potential upper cases etc, still no luck, nothing helped so far.Do you have any idea what to do, apart from replacing my old BDR-205 with a somewhat modernebb apparatus?Your sincerelly,P.Tatár
