Need Help Reactivating My Pinterest Account

I deactivated my account, but can't seem to get it reactivated now. It still recognizes the email my account uses, but not a password. I have tried several different possible passwords and nothing works. Also, when I click "forgot password" and have an email sent to me to reset it, I don't even receive the email! I've tried everything I can think of.Help!

These ridiculous rejections have become increasingly common with various websites.
  • I've found that typing the information by hand (rather than using the system clipboard or a password manager to enter it) will often solve.
  • It's questionable whether Pinterest can help on this issue, but you can ask for help at [email protected].
  • It's very possible the problem is on your end. If so, follow these steps:
  1. If you've disabled any scripts, enable them.
  2. Clear your cache. You'll find specific instructions for your particular browser at http://www.refreshyourcache.com/. Clearing cookies also could help, so you may want to do both. If the problem is not solved...
  3. Restart your computer. If the problem is not solved...
  4. It may be necessary to update your browser (or even to switch browsers, in the worst case); links for updating various browsers may be found on this Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=742

If you have trouble receiving this or other mail:

Incoming mail is commonly blocked in an attempt to filter out spam (even though that email was not really spam). This blocking may have been done by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or host, by your email program, or by special anti-spam software (which sometimes is part of an antivirus package). Messages thought to be spam are sometimes (but not always) diverted to a folder designated Spam, Trash, Junk, or Deleted Items. If you know where to look, go to it. Otherwise, your first step should probably be to phone your ISP and ask.
