How Do I Solve Loose Under Thread?

Hi I bought a Pfaff 1027 Tipmatic second. It sewed beautifully. I sewed quilted plate 'coasters'. When I finished basting stitches (Width 4), I turned to the back to a line of loose threads! No matter how many times I re-thread, I get the same result.

This issue is caused by your bobbin tension so make sure you have the correct bobbin. Try reinserting the bobbin into the bobbin case and then put your finger on the bobbin so it cannot move then when you pull the thread into the tension on the bobbin case the thread will be pulled firmly into the tension on the bobbin case. This should resolve that issue.
