Hook Up Cable, To Cable Box

Hi, I got a Panasonic model # TH-37PH10UK from my son.I know it's an older model,but i like to hook it up to my cable box.I called the cable co. out and even they didn't know what cable to use.So my question is do i have to throw out a perfectly good TV just because it is older? The TV serial No. is: LD72880171. CAN YOU HELP ME?

The TV you own has what is called BNC connectors, all you need to get is these adapters: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102688

Just get 3 of them and a 5 wire patch cord (RCA type) there too. Hook the adapters to the video ports in "Slot 3" on page 9: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/TH37PH10UK.pdf, then hook the five wires to the cable box outputs and then hook them to the five ports in "Slot 3" of the TV. Put the TV to that input and the set the cable box up for the highest resolution to get the best picture.

look behind your cable box and tv to see wich connexions you have and compare it, if you have component type better quality ( connectors blue, green and red ) use it with a triple rca cable need 1 rca cable for audio too, or you can use rca video standard cables to connect in video out and audio out ( connectors yellow for video and red white for audio)
