Power To Tv
Tv was working fine an had been turned off. The next time it was turned on only the redblightncame on and nothing else.

This problem may be caused by a faulty power supply or one of its outputs may failed as the section it feeds has a shortcircuit. Following all the electrical precautions on servicing high voltage boards, first disconnect one by one the supply lines to other sections to narrow down the faulty one and then try tracing the shorted component. If this is not the case, the power supply is faulty. Look for shorted Schottky rectifier, a three pin component like a transistor, screwed on a heat sink and test it with an ohmimeter. If there is another rectifiers, also test them. It is good ideia to look for leaky capacitors.
