where can i buy a new reciever or used? i cannot find anywhere online. Thanks

You were right, impossible to find a new or used receiver. The only other thing I could think of was repairing the unit you have, pop it open & look for obvious bulged or blown capacitors & cold solder connections. Go here to DL the operating manual. Sorry I couldn't pull a rabbit out of the hat! Good luck!
I did find a unit selling for parts. The seller states he didn't have a power cord to test. A shot in the dark. :)
