Loss Of Service
I have been using this radio without the antenna for over 12 months but I am getting the message "no service" does anyone know why/

More than likely something in your vicinity has changed. Perhaps a transmission tower closer to you is washing out the signal. A new building is blocking signal.
The question is does it work with an antenna? If not then it's time to take it to a service shop.
There are many indoor antenna available that work well and are not too intrusive.
