Ep1060

chair powers on roller move upward and suddenly stop remote blinks and beeps and rollers return to starting position and chair powers off

Since you're getting a light on the controller, that indicates that it is getting power. This is likely a damaged controller board.
  1. Unfortunately, this would be an internal hardware defect. It was likely caused either just by wear and age, or by a power event (shock/surge, etc).
  2. The one thing you may try is unplugging the chair from the power outlet for an extended period (at least over night) in an attempt to reset. If that does not help, then it confirms a hardware failure, which would require repairs to correct.
  3. There is also a high incidence of eprom failure (memory chip failure) in these models, which could be causing this.
