I Have A College Refund Check, Written By 'heartland Ecsi.'
The above company list PNC Bank, as the bank that backs this check. There are several PNC banks, in the Dallas, TX area. The Heartland ECSI company that wrote this check, is located in Warrendale, PA 15086.I "DO NOT BANK!" Will the PNC banks listed, in the Dallas TX area honor this check? I do have MORE than sufficient photo/ identification, and a letter from the presenting company. What is the Banks policy in situations of this nature? I'm sure that I'm not the first to encounter this type of situation. The funds is a refund from Dallas County Community College. Don Adkins

It doesn't matter which branch you go to. Just be sure that the check is legitimate, because checks (even cashiers' checks) are often successfully forged, and should that be the case the bank will come after you later, when it discovers the forgery.
