The green preheat light on an Oster 22-quart roaster oven is an indicator that the oven has reached the desired temperature for cooking. When the light is lit, it means that the oven has reached the set temperature and is ready for use. When the light is not lit, it means that the oven is not yet at the desired temperature and needs more time to heat up. This light is usually found on the control panel of the oven, and it will turn off when the oven reaches the desired temperature
