How Come Food And Customer Service Is So Bad In Tallahassee?

I have thought about this for several days before I wrote this. I did not even know who or where to write this to.On Valentine's Day 13 members of our family went to Olive Garden in Tallahassee, FL.It took us 20 minutes to get our drinks and then they were dropped not once, but twice before they got to us. After 40 minutes we got salad, breadsticks and placed our food order. Not because of us but because no one took our order....and there were two...yep. TWO waitresses that came to our table at first. We were not being rude...we were doing our best to be patient. Our order took another 23 minutes to come out....and the flatbread pizza was wrong and had to go back. Another order was wrong immediately as well and went back. Another was wrong but my grandson said he would just keep it. Then the rest of us tried our food. It was all either cold or barely warm which made me think that it had been sitting there for quite some time. The ravioli on the pick you own tour of Italy's were dried out and could not even be cut. No one ate them. Finally when the other food came back out ( that had been sent back...another 15 minutes mind you) I said something. The manager came over and offered to give us new dishes....seriously after and hour and forty eight minutes or so being in the restaurant???? That is what I said to him, but I was polite. I told him we came there all the time and we have NEVER had such awful service and food. He gave us two orders of doughnuts instead of doing something else. We paid over $170 for our food and did not eat even half of what was brought out!!!!Plus we tipped because we started feeling bad for the staff. They were obviously understaffed and the manager even said that!!!On Valentine's Day they did not have enough people to give quality food and service to the customers??? Not good for the Olive Garden.I am not sure if we will eve go back there after this. Any of us.I thought it was handled badly. I was very disappointed. As was everyone else.I don't usually complain but after thinking about this and praying about it, I decided to go ahead and write this.
