What Does The Service Stability System Light Entail?

The IPC displays the SERVICE STABILITY SYS message when the IPC receives a class 2 serial data line request from the EBTCM(electronic brake /traction control module). The message indicates that a malfunction exists in the stability enhancement feature.When this happens there is a failure code set for a circuit failure.This problem can be a input/output sensor(such as wheel speed,lateral & yaw rate,or vehicle speed sensor),circuit to one of these sensors,or computer error.To diagnose this problem A knowledgeable,experienced technician will try & duplicate the problem & using failure date to solve the problem.If the problem is intermitten,this is always harder to locate & usually take longer to find.
