what does it mean when your fuel injectors not firing

Fuel injection suppose to inject fuel into each firing chamber. If this is not don't they are not doing their job. How do you no this is what is happening? Have you verify this by any diagnostic test?
I would advise you to stop by your local library and ask to be taken to the online Chilton repair manuasl so you could be more certain about this problem.
