Saying I Did Not Make November Payment. I Did Make Payment.

I Got A Final Notice In The Mail This Week Stating I Did Not Make November Payment. I Did Make The Payment With Cash In The Kiosk. The Rep Told Me That Without A Confirmation Number, They Will Not Credit My Account. I Do Have A Confirmation Number...but On 12/10/2014 My House And Vehicle Were Broke Into. My Wallet Was Stolen, Which Had The Receipt In It, Along With My Social Security Card And Debit Card. They Are Telling Me That I Have To Pay That Money Again. What Can I Do To Get My Account Credited. I Have A Police Report Stating My Vehicle Was Broke Into And Items In Wallet Were Stolen. The Rep Would Not Let Me Speak To A Supervisor Either. What Do I Need To Do To Get My Account Credited.

I under your frustration but I'm sure the CS reps. have heard every excuse in the book on missed payments. I do not doubt that you paid in cash but you need proof. Paper trails aren't always good but in this case the only paper is your stolen receipt. I suggest you contact local & corp. & ask to escalate your claim to management. You should also take your police report & go to the local Oklahoma City local OG&E office (OG&E PO Box 24990 Oklahoma City, OK 73124-0990.) I advise you to make the payment to avoid shutoff. You should go here  & send a request also. Best of luck.
